Partnering Training

The International Partnering Institute Partnering Academies

The International Partnering Institute offers two focus areas for training courses and consultations; one for project teams and one for project owners. Both IPI Academies are committed to helping create a partnering culture based on IPI’s Partnering Best Practices. The IPI Academies provide an array of courses and consultations that help project teams and owners to successfully implement partnering on their projects and work to change the culture in which projects are performed.

The Project Partnering Academy is focused on developing the skills required to successfully implement partnering on the construction project. The Construction Owner Partnering Academy focuses on how construction owners can assess, develop and implement the IPI Partnering Best Practices into an integrated partnering program at the construction program level.

The IPI Project Partnering Academy

The overall goal of the Project Partnering Academy’s offerings, is to build the skill sets and knowledge base of project team members in areas essential to effective partnering, thereby contributing to the success of the project. Team-building occurs among project team members who participate in training programs together, and the IPI courses are the perfect way to kick-start your project by jointly attending the training.

Courses will be presented in four hour blocks with an emphasis on active participation by attendees. Courses are presented either to a project team that is working together on a project or to an organization who wishes all of their project team members to learn the skill sets for partnering.
